Riddle playground at Peyzazhna Alley

The famous Peyzazhna Alley is situated in the historical part of Kyiv, the so-called Upper City, and is a symbol of the struggle between Kyiv citizens and unscrupulous property owners. Through the efforts of the general public, including “Master Klass”, the Children’s Landscape Park – a verdant square wonderful animal sculptures – was built instead of large block of apartments.
Our endeavours did not stop there: “Okeshkin Club” created a riddle playground with fabulous characters near the square. Each composition is an illustration of a famous folk riddle. And at the entrance to the playground the children are met by the figure of Okeshka himself.
The authors of the project are: artist Lesya Kara-Kotsya, sculptor Kostyantyn Skretutskiy (famous for his “Hedgehog in the Fog”) and architect Olha Kondratska.
