Cinema Club resumed оn 23rd September
20 September 2010The English Cinema Club opened film "Fiddler on the Roof" (USA 1971), based on the Broadway musical of the same title. It is about the lives of Jewish people in a pre-revolution Russian tale of settlement. The plot is based on the tales by Sholem Aleichem about Tevye the Milkman.
Before the film show a small party on the roof of "Master Klass" building was organised.





- 25th September at 1.00 p.m. “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” (UK 1968) will open the Children’s Cinema Club. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is based on Ian Fleming’s novel. The main character, Caractacus is an eccentric inventor, who has created
- a magical car called “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang”, that can not only drive, but also fly and swim.
- 28th September at 7.00 p.m. The European Cinema Club begins. The viewers will be able to watch silent films between 1899 and 1908 by the French film director Georges Melies. Georges Melies was one of the founders of cinematography. Many of his films were made as theatrical performances with special effects.
Each film will be presented by a film expert. After screening, the customary discussion about the film will take place in the cosy café at Master Klass.
