Look at Kyiv from the Height!

Now Open Kiev double-decker tourist buses begin their tour from the centre of the capital near “Master Klass” in Lavrskaya Street, 16, in front of the Kyiv-Pechers`ka Lavra. According to the organizers of the OpenKiev project, the transfer of the trip took place due to the fact that this region of Kyiv has gained the special popularity among tourists.

Tour Beginning:

  • 11.00 a.m., 2.00 p.m. – on weekdays
  • 11.00 a.m., 1.00 p.m., 3.00 p.m. – on weekends.

Cost: 150 hryvnias for adults, 100 hryvnias for children (7-14 y.). For pensioners and students the ticket price is 125 hryvnias. For children under 7 our tour is free of charge.

The double-decker bus runs between the tourist attractions of Kyiv. In winter the second floor of the bus is being closed with a sleeve roof, and guests are being offered with blankets and hot tea, included in the ticket price.

The travel itinerary includes such well-known places as St. Andrew's Church, St. Michael's Cathedral, Independence Square, St. Vladimir's Cathedral, Golden Gates, the National Opera, the University of Taras Shevchenko, the Mariinsky Palace, the Kyiv-Pechers`ka Lavra and others.

This company introduced the first Open Kiev tourist route on board the double-decker bus in July 2010. This form of urban tours is popular in almost all Western countries and is well known to foreign tourists who visited Kyiv.

The founder of Open Kiev is the Cultural and Educational Centre Master Klass.
