The graphic arts are believed to be the aristocrats of art. This master class will acquaint you with one of its forms – a watercolour. A la prima, or “at the time”, is a technique that discovers all the charm and uniqueness of watercolours. It is a painting on wet paper with an unpredictable play of colours and free designs which exist and breathe and that cannot be achieved by painting the fine details. Not only is constant practice important for mastering this technique, but also the knowledge of some classical watercolour techniques. And of course…. your own appropriate mood!
