English Cinema Club: “The Maltese Falcon” (USA 1941)

On Thursday, 30th September at 7.00 p.m. the film “The Maltese Falcon” (USA 1941) will be screened at the English Cinema Club.
“The Maltese Falcon” is John Huston's film debut and is considered to be the first classical film noir. It is one of film adaptations of the detective novel by Dashiell Hammett. The picture made Humphrey Bogart (also played in “Casablanca”) the superstar.
The film is screened in English with English subtitles.
